The existing plot consists of different volumes: the main house, a garage and outbuildings for stables. If the main dwelling implements itself in coherence with the landscape, the annexes, they, appear as a blind and hostile wall without dialogue with the environment. The project makes the most of minimizing the volume of ancillary buildings and integrating it into landscaping work. From the street, the house retains its existing typology: a set of two volumes rez + 1 of small size with roofs to slopes. The openings created respond to the general context, views and orientations. While the main façade and the two side façades retain the relatively closed rural character of today, the rear facade opens generously towards the garden to bring a maximum of natural light into the dwelling and offer views towards the landscape. surrounding. In this logic, the spaces used take place on the north facade to free up the south facade. Inside the envelope, the spaces are thus linked in a fluid way, open on each other. The game of levels and circulation creates sequences and inner perspectives. The complete isolation from the outside of the volume guarantees a high performance envelope to meet the criteria of very low energy.
