Programme
The project is a heavy transformation from an existing Moorish style house where the style, the function and the image were not in line with a contemporary image of the Singapore and its needs. The aim was also to create a contemporary Asian architecture with materials (such as teak wood and beige stone) which illustrates the image of the country. About
The new Singapore Embassy and Mission for the European Union is completed since 2014. This building with 2000 m2 located 85 avenue Franklin Roosevelt in Brussels has been designed by Greenarch architecture +environment (JF Roger France architect) after winning the International Competition in 2008. The exterior geometry of the building is a simple parallelepiped in beige stone with vertical stone junctions which is creating a kind of massive shell.
