The object of the competition is to project an office complex on the Euratechnologies site in Lille. The future users are still unknown, the first potential contradiction. In this public/private partnership, the promoter wishes to build in wood while the developer and the urban planner promote the use of masonry referring to the present industrial heritage, second potential contradiction. How to raise, or even transcend, these singular questions. By grasping them literally, the project opens up on construction issues that will prove particularly inspiring. The preliminary requirements will contribute to the elaboration of a logical 'spatial structure' both in terms of construction and the freedom of appropriation of future users.
