Programme
Transformation of a single-family house into an art foundation offering a multidisciplinary program that combines visual arts and literature, organizes exhibitions and offers a residency for artists and authors.
About
The project consisted of the transformation of a single-family house into an art foundation, whose complexity of the program was based on its diversity. In addition to initial work on traffic and the life it generates, most of our approach was based on a series of one-off interventions that highlight the obvious architectural qualities of the place. We find these interventions in the revelation of the arches, the underlining of the openings, the accentuation of the woodwork by contrast, but also in the opening of certain volumes and their connections. Because the new use of the house is linked to artistic production and its exhibition, our work has been systematically regulated by a form of neutrality while trying to bring an identity to the foundation.
