Copenhagen residents and city guests will soon be able to enjoy an arena at international level, for big national and international music, cultural and sports events : for more information.Procurement of Design The design and planning phase will be put to tender as full-service consultancy for a design team comprising architects, engineers and arena experts.
A design competition will be held for the arena. On the basis of the winning design, the project will be developed to proposed outline level and then tenders will be invited from contractors. The lead consultant and team will be transferred to the contractor.
The tender for the task will be during autumn 2011 as an EU tendering procedure in accordance with the rules for project competitions, and it is expected that a winning team will be announced in late April 2012.
