Arquitecturas Film Festival - Lisboa

For its 6th edition, Arquitecturas challenges national and international directors, architects and producers to submit their work under the categories of Documentary, Experimental and Fiction. All lengths and formats are considered. Films must be produced after 1 January 2017.

 

How have fictional films represented architecture since the beginning of cinema?

 

Under the theme “Learning from Fiction,” Arquitecturas 2018 recognizes the growing global interest in several interdisciplinary approaches to contemporary architecture. They seek proposals that use the power of moving images to translate the dialogue between city, space and narrative. That is why, this year, Arquitecturas has introduced a new category: Fiction. In addiction, there will be two cross-sectoral awards: New Talents and the Audience Award.
