A new European Bauhaus: Belgium

As part of the Triennale Upside Down online programme, the Milan Triennale is organising the second edition of A New European Bauhaus, a series of digital conversations organised in collaboration with European diplomatic and cultural representations. This event is inspired by the eponymous European Commission's project.

The aim of the conversations is to collect a series of ideas and perspectives from different European countries. For the Triennial, the main aim is to stimulate a broad dialogue between experts on the themes of design, architecture, demography, new technologies and renewable energies in order to share ideas and proposals.

The conference, moderated by Marco Sammicheli, Triennale Milano and introduced by Céline Flagothier, economic advisor and representative of Wallonie-Bruxelles International in Italy and by Geert De Proost, Councillor - general representative of the Flemish Community and Region.

It will involve: Audrey Contesse, Director of the Institut culturel d'architecture - Wallonie-Bruxelles (ICA-WB), Sophie De Caigny, Director of the Vlaams Architectuurinstituut (VAI), Nikolaus Hirsch, Artistic Director of the CIVA and Bas Smets, landscape architect.

This conference could be followed live on 17 March at 6 pm. Registration.
