At «l'Architecte», a restaurant that belongs to the «Cercle des Presses Universitaires de Bruxelles (PUB) », we can eat, read, work or take a coffee ; all of this by making a contribution to the social mission of the PUB which is to benefit students. Chefs Damien Bouchery and Antoine Germain make gastronomy and fresh food affordable. They choose the best food suppliers to make you discover meals that change according to season and the market. They also offer a collection of wines by Titulus, ripened cheese by Julien Hazard and icecream by Frédéric Blondeel. Besides proposing a new gastronomical experience in the Flagey square, the restaurant supports the PUB, helps the social funds of the ULB university, and it also offers a print service and a bookshop dedicated to architecture. Designed by Lhoas & Lhoas architects in the frame of the entire school renovation, the space is the combination of an exposed structure and the use of raw materials and shapes. By letting the structure and the technical elements visible, the space intends to propose an experience similar to the one in the kitchen : audacious but affordable at the same time.
