As the first chapter of the Tour & Taxis park, the Parckfarm project was initiated through the curation of the biennale Parckdesign 2014. This test phase convinced the client to extend the project that is today activated by the non-profit organization Parckfarm T&T. The project is based on observing the socio-spatial values of the site in the pivotal location between three municipalities. Here we spotted a vegetable garden managed by inhabitants, a dovecote by a homeless and a chicken farm initiated by a neighbor. Our proposal encouraged the recognition and support of these practices in the development of a park of a new typology: Parck + Farm = Parckfarm. The co-design and co-production of the Parckfarm was a collaboration between artists and inhabitants in order to generate appropriation of the Parckfarm.
