London 2017: What's next?
The organisation in 2017 of the cultural season entitled What about Belgian architecture? Which was organised in the framework of our partnership with the London CASS School of Art, Architecture and Design has paid off.
Two highlights – the presentation of Inventories#2 from April 6th to 27th 2017 and the presentation of entrer: five Architectures in Belgium from September 25th to October 13th 2017 – have provoked a deep interest in the Londoners. The specialized magazine The Architectural Review decided to publish a Belgium-themed issue later this year. We look forward discovering it!
The CASS wishes to extend its partnership with the architects of Wallonia-Brussels. A workshop will be organized in 2018. Three participants will participate in it: Cécile Vandernoot (architect, author of an article in Inventories 2), Benoît Henken (comic strip authors in Inventories 2) and Xavier Lelion (architect, curator of the exhibition and editorial director of Inventories 2).
Last but not least, the practice of the curators of the exhibition Inventaires#2 are now working on two competitions with William Mann of the London-based office Witherford Watson Mann architects.
