On the 3rd and the 4th WBA co-organizes lectures-debates with 4 Belgian architecture offices in Shenzhen:

As warm up for Shenzhen & Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism / Architecture in 2013, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Belgium in Guangzhou, in collaboration with Shenzhen Biennale of Urbanism / Architecture Organizer Committee and Shenzhen Center for Design, invite a delegation of experienced Belgian architects to Shenzhen, aiming to promote bilateral exchange in architecture through dialogues and lectures on December 3rd and 4th.
 
Belgium possesses a singular creative know-how with confirmed and emerging talents ready to share Shenzhen's expertise and to develop a sound and sustainable business relation.
 
During their stay in Shenzhen, four Belgian architects and urban planners with varied specialties ranging from integrated mixed-use design, optimal structure solutions, urban regeneration to adaptive reuse of existing site will give a lecture on Creating Breathing Spaces, introducing innovative architectural concepts and practices in the context of urbanism.
 
The lectures are part of the BELGIAN SPIRIT operation, promotion event about Architecture-Design-Fashion organized by Belgium in Hong Kong and Shenzhen (partners: AWEX-Wallonia agency for export, Brussels Invest & Export, Flanders Investment and Trade + Design Vlaanderen, Flanders Fashion institute, Flanders Architecture institute, WBA, Wallonia-Brussels Design and Fashion).
