Wallonia-Brussels Architectures (WBA) and Wallonia-Brussels Design Mode (WBDM) co-organise in Milano on June 23rd two round tables attended by a number of prestigious names from the worlds of design and architecture, coming from both Belgium and further afield in Europe in the Belgian Pavilion at EXPO MILANO 2015.

This event is organised in collaboration with Wallonia Design, Wallonia-Brussels International, Wallonia Export & Investment Agency and WBDM in the frame of the Week Wallonia-Brussels. We associate ourselves to the RECIPROCITY DAY, a day of preview dedicated to the International Triennial of Design & Social Innovation in Liège, Belgium (1 October – 1 November, 2015). This Triennial will include for the first time an architectural part which will be curated by the Brussels-based office Rotor. For the complete programme of the day, please click here.

The first round table, The Taste of Change, invites the panellists and public to discuss the key issues that are at the heart of the coming Triennial in Liege.

The round table in the afternoon, Making precious components from buildings destined for demolition useful again, is organised by WBA in collaboration with Rotor. It will bring together Belgian and Italian practitioners with an expertise in building materials reuse. They will share their experiences, which collectively represent European state-of- the-art approaches to salvaging and the reuse of architectural components. If you want to assist to this event, please contact us.
