This 500-space parking lot is located in a forested area that was cleared prior to the launch of the public market, and was originally part of the "natural" areas of the Sart Tilman university estate. The omnipresence of the car questions the project in the way in which we can set up a functional program while "mastering our control", reactivating the ecosystems and keeping nature at the heart of the device: it is a question of reweaving the green and blue meshes, of guaranteeing that the fauna and flora can regain their rights and their movements, and of putting back in value the pedestrian and cyclist paths, even if they do not represent, in terms of surface on the ground, the greatest percentages of occupation. Staging them, making them attractive, also means stimulating changes in habits and mentality. It is a parking lot in the forest where nature takes over and where walking should remain a pleasure. The composition in "comb" makes it possible to envisage this shift between natural and artificial environment.
