The renovation operation aims to improve the company's premises, as well as harmoniously evolving its pre-existent construction at the heart of a vast urban block at Schaerbeek. By re-centring the high-tech activities at the core of the block, TEIN freed the buildings fronting the road and gave them back their residential characteristics. The renovation was undertaken with the two-fold concern of, on the one hand, restoring the building's original exterior and therefore thus revealing its traces of the past that it once represented in the block, on the other hand, creating an interior layout with a contemporary approach.
